Red Flip-flops
This winter just keeps dragging on and on, and all of the dragging is starting to get to my head. My frost-induced lunacy exhibits itself in many ways, such as: Last night, I had a dream that it was finally warm outside. The sun was shining, all of the snow was gone, and the grass was green. Asher and I were going to take advantage of the beautiful weather and walk Hugh to class. All three of us had brand new red flip-flops and we were going to wear them for the first time to celebrate our release from winter's frigid prison. I was very excited to be out the door, until I saw Hugh's feet. Under his flip-flops, he was wearing a pair of white sweat socks, making him look like an extra dorky Ninja Turtle. I told him that he definitely could not wear socks with his flip-flops, but he refused to take the socks off. Then, out of nowhere, appeared Hugh's brother Ben. He insisted that there was nothing at all wrong with wearing sweat socks under one's flip-flops, and, since nobody magically appeared to take my side, I was stuck walking to campus with one seriously fashion-challenged husband. And what this all means is, that spring had better come soon before I lose it altogether.

I would have rushed to defend your side if I had only known ! Socks hurt under flip flops anyway. Don't ask me how I know that.
But... but... there IS nothing at all wrong with wearing sweat socks under one's flip-flops!
I think it is hilarious that Ben haunts your dreams. hahaaaa!
Why does the image of Ben wearing socks under flip flops not surprise me?!? I LOVE my flip flops as well and am sick of all the snow up here.
Actually, I don't wear socks with flipflops. It was all a ploy.
