The issue of what to do with the format of my blog has been driving me up the wall for some time now. I spent many a fruitless hour trying to finagle Blogger into doing what I wanted. I even looked at Wordpress to see if I'd have more luck there, but alas, it was no better. Eventually I became too frustrated to mess with it any longer and gave up my endeavors in favor of a completely different format. This format wasn't really what I wanted and it left a lot of empty space that I didn't like. To remedy this, I added a blog background that, let's be honest, was a little over-the-top cutesy for me.
My patience with the over-cutesy-fiedness of this setup was just coming to an end when a friend of mine made her blog over in almost exactly the same way as I had been trying to do all along. I wrote to her to ask how she had done it, and she sent me a bunch of html codes that I wish I could tell you made sense to me... but they didn't. Luckily, I am married to a man who can figure out just about anything remotely technology related, even if he has never seen it before. He looked it all over and in about half an hour, presented me with the glory that you now see before you.
I'm pretty sure that if I were single my whole life, I'd never use the computer for anything except e-mails and the occasional amazon.com purchase. Thankfully, I have my tech savvy hubby to introduce me to the rest of the wide world of modern technology.

so cute!!
I like it, although I miss the picture of you and Hugh clicking your heels together up in the air.
I love the layout. And I'm sure Angie will too, which brings in the question (actually the plea): What is the code you used?? We've been trying to find a good one for our blog, but we've been less than completely satisfied so far... :D can you help?
Very nice :) I really like your hair in the top picture too :)
I'm actually a big jealous, as well...your blog does what I want mine to do. I want the crazy extra space at the top by the picture gone and the text to extend to the left of where it does now...I think I'll call soon and see if I can't get a little help. :)
Go grown-up techno-moths!
