Last week we got to visit Hugh's parents in Minnesota. Our sister-in-law Candice and her 17-month-old daughter Eden were also there. Between Asher and Eden's different sleeping schedules, we didn't get out to do too many crazy things, but we did have a lot of fun. We spent a lot of time talking, playing Scrabble and Dalmuti, and eating delicious food made by Hugh's mom.
In between naps, we played outside:

We went to the zoo:

(Ah... did I mention that I had cut off a foot of my hair? That's not a very good picture of it, so here's a better one:)

Eden was very helpful. Here she is giving Asher his pacifier... sideways... :) :
After the kidlets were in bed, we played some very mature games. Here I am, winning one... bwa, ha, ha... :
We had a fabulous time. Alas, all good things must come to an end, and we are now home and it's time for school again. So, the bad news is that we don't get to eat Hugh's mom's food every day anymore, but the good news is that it feels like fall is coming, which makes me want to wear jackets and eat squash. :)

Cute hair! I just cut mine chin length, too! I love the feeling of nothing on my neck.
PS. Are you coming to visit California anytime soon? We miss you!
